KCIC READYMIX CONCRETE CODE OF PRACTICE FOR THE USE OF CONCRETE PUMPS

KCIC READYMIX MANAGEMENT (Scheduler, Operations, and Managers) is responsible for:

• Agreement with the construction site on conditions of use
• Informing the pump operator about the construction site in good time
• Condition of the machine
• Inspections
• Training instruction and rules implementation

THE PUMP OPERATOR is responsible for:

• He is the only one has the right to use the pump
• Use in accordance with designated use
• Safe setting-up
• Advance arrangements with site management
• Condition of truck and pump
• Conduct in road traffic
• Immediate report of safety defects on the pump and the site specially the high voltage cables
• Follow the rules and safety procedure instruction

THE SITE MANAGEMENT (Site Manager, Foreman) is responsible for:

• Information on a safe set-up site
• Access routes
• Approval to set up in road traffic
• Securing overhead electric cables
• Safe working conditions on the construction site

All interested parties named are responsible for the observance of these requirements otherwise pumping must not take place without consulting.
